Germany Offers €6.5 Billion in Grid Subsidies and Lower Electricity Taxes to Support Industry

Berlin plans to subsidize electricity grid charges by six and a half billion euros and reduce electricity taxes for around six hundred thousand companies to the European minimum rate. The measures are designed to ease energy costs for German businesses and reduce the risk of production moving abroad.
