German Economic Institutes Raise 2026 Growth Forecasts as Exports and Public Spending Strengthen

Germany’s economic outlook has improved markedly, with the IMK forecasting gross domestic product growth of one point three percent in 2026 as stronger exports and increased government spending on defence and infrastructure support the recovery.
