Germany’s Inflation Rate Falls to 1.6% in September 2024

German consumer prices rose 1.6% from a year earlier in September, the lowest inflation rate in more than three years, as sharply cheaper energy offset continued pressure from services. ([Federal Statistical Office of Germany][7])
