German Business Climate Index Rises for Sixth Consecutive Month as Manufacturing Sentiment Improves

The Munich-based Ifo Institute reported that its business climate index climbed to ninety point two points in October, rising for the sixth consecutive month and signaling a tentative trend reversal in industrial confidence as optimism and incoming orders improve within the manufacturing and mechanical engineering sectors.
