Germany Raises 2026 Growth Forecasts as Exports and Public Spending Improve Outlook

The Federation of German Industries now expects gross domestic product to grow 1% this year and the Handelsblatt Research Institute forecasts 1.1%, with exports and infrastructure and defence spending supporting the recovery despite weak private investment.
