The Federal Environment Ministry has set out new guidelines for a national water strategy aimed at managing increasing drought periods and safeguarding water-intensive industries, including semiconductor production in Saxony and Saxony-Anhalt, while also reducing the risk of cross-border water disputes with neighboring countries.
