Germany Approves 17-Cent Fuel Tax Cut and Plans Temporary Price Cap

Germany will cut taxes on petrol and diesel by the equivalent of about 17 cents a litre from October through December and plans discussions aimed at introducing a temporary fuel-price cap by January 2027.
