German Science Council Recommends Massive Public Funding Increase for Artificial Intelligence and Quantum Computing Research
The German Science Council has advised the federal government and state administrations to substantially expand public financial support for university-level basic research in generative artificial intelligence and quantum information technology to prevent Germany from falling behind in the global innovation race with the United States and China.
